- The Draconis Internet Package is a brandnew Internet software that
runs with single-, multitos and Magic etc. The actual reease is the 0.85.
You get a really nice browser that supports the HTML 3.2 standard. The
actual version sometimes isn´t able to view all sites correct, but
when the final release 1.0 is published, this problem should be solved.
The browser is prepared for a Java console!! So I think there must be some
people converting Java for the Atari. (Not to imagine, what will be able
then!)
You also get an E-Mail and PPP-connect progam. The installation
is very easy and for building up a PPP connection you get the help of Draconis
Wizard. The most important providers in germany are already supported.
But even for building up a connection to other providers is supported by
Draconis Wizard.
The final release is announced to support Java Script and HTML 4.
A HTML support by the Mail Program is also promised. I Think it´s
one of the most intersting projects of this year. Infos
- The latest version of Cab is now available at ASH
. It has got the release number 2.7. It also includes the latest
version of PPP-Connect, Fiffi and Telnet-Client T2. Cab now supports Cookies
and is now able to use password protected sites.
Software
- for getting more informations about your Atari computer you´ll need the latest version of the shareware tool "Sys-Info 4.30". It is available at the author. E-Mail: [email protected]
- Texel 2.1, the spreadsheet program is now prepared for im- and export of excel files. Excel is the standard spreadsheet for the pc. It´s also possible to export sheets into HTML 4. Now easy publishing in internet is possible. It is released by ASH .
- Magic 6.0 for Atari, PC and Mac. Now all these versions have got the same release numbers. But not only the release number has changed. They also optimized the usability. The main advantage is that Magic 6 is able to save the messages of the autofolder programs for a later troubleshooting. More informations at: ASH
- Aniplayer 2.01. A lot of different video, sound and graphic files
are available in internet, but how can I view them on my Atari. This is
a special task for the Ani Player. It is able to view the main video, sound
and graphic files. The best performance is possible with a Falcon, TT or
Milan. You can download the Player on the authors

- finally Worms has been released for the Jag.
It is available since 1995 for the PC and rumours announced it for the
Atari Jag for more than 2 years now. More details at: Video
